Change the daily games back to varied difficulty and I’ll play more, see more of the usual ads, and give a higher rating until then, I’m playing less and the rating remains at one star. So it actually does the opposite of the intended result - I view less ads so the game gets less revenue. And that means less activity and less ads that I view. I refuse to watch 10-20 ads just to finish one game. Here’s a novel idea - how about keeping the same or SLIGHTLY modified diversity of game difficulties in all months? My response to all the Expert games is to just not do them.
These games start with NO numbers so you are forced to watch ads to get Hints (numbers) to put in the puzzle. The game is fun until you get good at it, and then almost ALL of the daily challenges become “Hard” or “Expert”, with over half being Expert. It was for drinkable makeup or something like that. I remember groaning over and over when the killer ad came up. Yet other ads lock up my iPad almost completely. On them I have to kill the Killer Sudoku app and restart it to move on. On those ads the only thing that works is clicking through to their website or returning to the ad. Those also don't seem to render properly. This is especially helpful because there are a set of ads that never exit and don't provide an X or close button. I like the way they are handled and how I can FF through many of them, and I like that they have the Adsense triangle on most of them to allow reporting bad ads. One comment for improvement is on the Ads. If it does not do that then let me suggest it. I assumed that the game learned the players skill level and tuned the game to present appropriate puzzles. Like another reviewer, I also noticed that I got more expert puzzles as dailies as I went along. I've played hundreds of games and not seen any that were "badly formed." Some were truly devilish to solve, and I often think that the expert level could be divided into 2 levels because of the differences in difficulty among those puzzles.
